The parts of the image that will sit behind the type are knocked out.
The type is knocked out so the graphic will "pass" through it.
The knocked-out versions of the type and the shark are combined.
A copy of the original image of the shark is inserted behind the knocked-out layers; completing the intertwining effect.
The first layer that will make up the background is created.
The second layer that will make up the background is created.
The two background layers are combined and set above a black base layer.
The logo and the background are combined.
A stylized border is added, completing the logo.
